CONCENTRATES & RSO

RSO in Holyoke — Rick Simpson Oil on the Menu

RSO stands for Rick Simpson Oil. It is a full-spectrum cannabis extract, sold as a thick, dark oil in a syringe-style applicator rather than a jar or a cartridge. It is made from the whole plant instead of an isolated compound, which is why it looks and handles nothing like a live rosin, a badder or a vape cart.

We carry RSO as a standing part of the concentrates shelf rather than an occasional drop. That usually means single-gram Remedi syringes across indica, sativa and hybrid cultivars, alongside an RSO tincture and RSO gummies when they are in. What is actually on the shelf changes, so check the live menu before you drive over.

RSO is measured in milligrams rather than by percentage, and those numbers do not compare to a flower label. If it is new to you, talk to a budtender before you buy — that conversation is free and it is the quickest way to leave with the right thing.

See the RSO on our menu right now.

What Else Is on the Concentrates Shelf

Concentrates cover a wide range of textures and extraction methods, and the names are not always obvious from the label. Here is what we tend to keep in:

  • Live rosin — solventless, pressed from fresh-frozen plant material with heat and pressure. The purest expression of a cultivar and priced accordingly.
  • Live resin — extracted from fresh-frozen material with solvent, then purged. Big terpene retention, softer price than rosin.
  • Badder and budder — whipped during the purge into a creamy, spreadable consistency. Easy to handle on a dab tool.
  • Sugar and sauce — wetter, crystalline textures where the cannabinoids and terpenes have partly separated.
  • Liquid diamonds — THCA crystal recombined with terpene sauce, usually in a disposable or a 510 cartridge.
  • Hash and shake — the traditional end of the shelf, including our own house-grown material.
  • RSO — the full-spectrum syringe oil described above.

Massachusetts limits a single transaction to 10 grams of concentrate. Every product on this page is lab-tested and the results are printed on the package.

Got concentrates questions? We’ve got answers.

The basics on concentrates — effects, dosage, legal limits, and how to choose what’s right for you. Still curious? Our budtenders can walk you through every option in store.

In Massachusetts, you can buy up to 10 grams of cannabis concentrates (such as wax, shatter, and vape cartridges) per day, in accordance with state regulations.

Live concentrates are cannabis extracts made from fresh-frozen, undried plants rather than dried and cured buds. This flash-freezing process preserves the plant’s original terpenes and cannabinoids, offering a highly aromatic, flavorful, and potent experience.

1. Live Resin: Live Sugar (grainy, wet texture) | Live Badder/Budder (whipped, soft, creamy — like cake frosting or butter) | Live Shatter (solid and glass-like, snap-and-break texture).
2. Live Rosin: Live Hash Rosin (pressed from premium ice-water hash gathered from fresh-frozen material) | Live Kief Rosin (extracted directly from fresh-frozen flower using heat and pressure).
3. Diamonds: isolated THCA crystals stripped from fresh-frozen extract, usually sold mixed with terpenes.

Concentrates are highly potent extracts made by separating cannabinoids and terpenes from the cannabis plant. They contain higher levels of THC and are designed for stronger effects compared to traditional flower.

1. Sprinkle onto flower — kief or wax can be layered onto a bowl or joint.
2. Vape — many electronic vaporizers are designed for wax or oil.
3. Dab — using a dab rig, concentrates can be quickly vaporized on a heated surface for fast, strong effects.

Wax: soft, crumbly, easy for beginners.
Batter / Budder: creamy, spreadable, may contain terpenes.
Isolate: fine crystalline powder, often the purest form of THC available.
We also offer Live Rosin, Applicators, Diamonds, Hash, RSO, and Sugar.

Your choice depends on desired effects, flavor preference, and experience level. Our budtenders can help you select based on whether you want strong potency, rich terpene flavor, or a balanced experience.

Yes.
