A licensed Massachusetts adult-use dispensary at 380 Dwight Street in downtown Holyoke — one river crossing from Chicopee, open 8AM to 11PM, seven days a week. Adults 21+ with valid photo ID.
Chicopee and Holyoke share a river, which is why the drive is shorter than people expect. You can browse the full menu before you leave, or just walk in.
Pick up MA-116 to I-391 North and stay on it across the Connecticut River. It is about four and a half miles door to door, and usually around ten minutes on a normal day. Off the highway it is a couple of turns onto Dwight Street.
Take MA-141 and connect to I-391 North. Call it about four and a half miles and roughly ten minutes, most of it highway.
This is the short one. The Willimansett Bridge carries MA-116 straight across the Connecticut River, and from the north end of Chicopee you are under three miles out — about six or seven minutes, no highway required. Plenty of our Willimansett customers treat the trip as a neighborhood errand, because functionally that is what it is.
Parking and getting in the door. We are at 380 Dwight Street, Suite 3, in one of the old mill buildings downtown. There is a large free parking lot right out front — no garage, no meter hunting. The main entrance is step-free, so there is nothing between the sidewalk and the counter. First time and you would rather not guess? Call (413) 322-8611 and we will talk you in.
The drive: I-391 North straight into downtown Holyoke — about 4.7 miles and roughly ten minutes from Chicopee Center. Free parking in our own lot when you get here.
You have dispensaries closer than us. That is just true, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Here is what people tell us they come for instead.
The hours. Covered above, and it is the reason that comes up most.
The concentrate shelf. If dabs are your category, format range matters more than proximity. Live rosin, badder, sugar, sauce, diamonds, hash and RSO syringes are all on the shelf.
We grow some of it. In-house cultivation plus direct relationships with Pioneer Valley growers means a chunk of the shelf came from people we actually know. That is not a marketing line, it is a supply chain.
Staff who will actually walk you through it. Nobody here is going to make you feel stupid for asking a basic question, and nobody is going to talk down to you if you already know exactly what you want. First visit or three-hundredth, same conversation. That is the whole idea behind our Holyoke dispensary.
Parking that is not a problem. A large free lot out front, step-free entry, seconds from the car to the door.
We are a local shop. Holyoke Cannabis has been independently owned since 2021, opened downtown on purpose alongside the other independents on the block. If where your money goes matters to you, that is a real answer.
We are open 8AM to 11PM, every day of the week. Monday through Sunday, holidays included unless we post otherwise.
This is the reason most of our Chicopee customers give when we ask what made them cross the bridge.
Think about what a real week looks like. You finish a shift at nine. You get the house quiet at 9:30. You are driving home from something on a Sunday evening and you would rather not make a separate trip tomorrow. In all three cases the question is not which dispensary — it is whether anything is open at all.
The 8AM open matters more than people expect, too. If you work second shift or overnights, morning is your evening.
There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to claim. It is simply when the doors are unlocked. Place an order on the menu at 10:15 and we will have it bagged and waiting under your name.
The menu is live and tracks the shelf, so what is online is what is in the building. Worth a look before you drive, particularly if you are coming from the far side of the city.
We run our own grow, so flower is where the menu starts.
We run our own cultivation, and that is the part that shapes the rest of the shelf. A share of the flower menu is grown in-house on proprietary strains you will not find under another name, and most of what carries the HC Exclusives label is flower out of that grow.
The rest comes from Pioneer Valley cultivators we buy from directly rather than through a distributor, with our procurement manager selecting brands by hand. All of it is Massachusetts lab-tested, with TAC and THC printed plainly on the label so you are reading numbers instead of interpreting a name. Stock turns over constantly — if something you liked is gone by your next trip, ask.
Pre-rolls in singles and multipacks, including rolls made from our own flower. If you want to try what the grow is producing without committing to an eighth, that is the easiest place to start.
Vapes and cartridges across the common hardware types, so whatever battery you already own has something that fits it. If you are not sure what you are holding, bring it in and ask.
Live rosin, badder, sugar, sauce, diamonds, hash and RSO syringes — real range across formats and textures, not three variations on one thing. If you are chasing a particular format rather than just a product, this is the shelf worth the trip. See the current concentrates selection.
A working range of edibles across the usual formats. They take longer to take effect than anything you inhale, so if edibles are new to you, say so at the counter and someone will talk it through with you before you buy.
We also carry tinctures and topicals. Not the widest shelf in the city on every one of those, and we would rather say so than pretend.
Three steps, and it takes about a minute.
Walk-ins are always welcome — ordering ahead just means you skip the browsing step, which is the part that takes time when the shop is busy.
Holyoke Cannabis does not deliver. Everything is pickup or in-store, full stop. Massachusetts delivery licenses are currently reserved for a specific class of applicants and we are not one of them, so please do not drive home expecting a driver. If you want it tonight, come get it — we are open until 11.
“This place is just amazing. The staff is always welcoming and friendly and always know their strains.”
“Genuine, friendly people with quality products. Simple, efficient in/out without lines, or hassle. One of the better dispensaries in the area, check them out!”
“My first experience here felt like Christmas morning. A sweet scent of skunky pine filled the room. Everyone had smiles stretching to their ears. I immediately knew I had found my go to spot. The quality is top notch and the prices are great compared to the other options in the area. The staff knows what they are talking about and the area is kept very clean.”
“I had an amazing experience at Holyoke Cannabis. They had a great selection and the staff was extremely helpful. The environment is a fresh and modern take on the traditional smoke shop, with less incense and more clean lines and hardwood. I will definitely be returning here again”
Yes. Adults 21 and over may legally purchase cannabis from any licensed Massachusetts adult-use retailer, and there is no residency requirement — you do not have to live in Holyoke, and the local rules in Chicopee do not restrict where you shop across city lines. You will need a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older, and we check every time, every customer.
Massachusetts sets limits on how much cannabis an adult may buy in a single transaction. Following the April 2026 statutory update, those limits are up to 2 ounces of flower, up to 10 grams of THC in concentrate, or up to 1,000 mg of THC in edibles. These are state limits, not store policy. We break the current limits down in full in our guide to how much cannabis you can buy and possess in Massachusetts.
Holyoke Cannabis is a licensed Massachusetts adult-use retailer. We are not a medical dispensary and we do not serve medical patients as patients.
Atendemos en español. Holyoke and Chicopee share a large Puerto Rican community, and a number of our team members speak Spanish — so if you would rather shop, ask questions, or work through the menu in Spanish, that is not a problem here.
If you would like Spanish assistance on a particular visit, call ahead at (413) 322-8611 and we will let you know who is on shift.

It depends where in Chicopee you are starting. From Willimansett or Aldenville it is under three miles across the Willimansett Bridge, about six or seven minutes. From Chicopee Center or Cabotville, it is about four and a half miles via MA-116 to I-391 North, usually around ten minutes. From Chicopee Falls, roughly the same distance and time via MA-141 to I-391 North.
We close at 11:00 PM, seven days a week, and we open at 8:00 AM. That is every day — Monday through Sunday, including holidays unless we post otherwise. If you are getting out of work at nine in Chicopee, you have plenty of time.
No. Any adult 21 or older with a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID can purchase at any licensed Massachusetts adult-use retailer, regardless of what city or state they live in. No residency requirement, no registration, no card.
Yes. Place your order on our menu, we will pull it and hold it under your name until close, and you show ID at the express pickup window — a separate counter from the browsing line — when you arrive. Ordering ahead is the fastest way through the shop, especially in the evening. Walk-ins are welcome too.
No. We are pickup and in-store only. Massachusetts delivery licenses remain restricted to a specific class of applicants and Holyoke Cannabis does not hold one, so we cannot deliver anywhere — Chicopee included.
There is a large free parking lot right out front. No garage, no meters to feed. The main entrance is step-free from the sidewalk, so there are no stairs to manage on the way in.
A valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older. We check every customer, every visit.
Massachusetts sets the limit, not the store. Following the April 2026 statutory update, an adult may purchase up to 2 ounces of flower, up to 10 grams of THC in concentrate, or up to 1,000 mg of THC in edibles in a single transaction.
Cash and debit cards. Holyoke Cannabis does not accept credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Venmo — cannabis is still federally illegal, so the major card networks will not process dispensary transactions anywhere in the country. There is an ATM on site if you need it; standard ATM fees apply. Worth sorting out before you leave Chicopee.
Any valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID showing you are 21 or older. A Massachusetts driver’s license, an out-of-state license, a state ID card, a US passport or passport card, and a military ID all work — in-state, out-of-state and international. There is no Massachusetts residency requirement and no cannabis card of any kind. We check ID on every visit, and your ID is checked for age verification only — we do not retain or store your information.
No. Massachusetts law restricts licensed adult-use retail floors to adults 21 and over, so no one under 21 may enter, including children — plan for them to wait in the car or at home. Well-behaved dogs are welcome inside.
No appointment needed. Walk in any time Holyoke Cannabis is open, 8AM to 11PM, seven days a week. Ordering ahead is optional; it just moves you to the express pickup window instead of the browsing line.
