Holyoke Cannabis Strain Feature: “Lava Cake”, “Black Mamba” and “Wedding Cake”
Every week Holyoke Cannabis features a few strains that we find are special. Last week we talked about “GG#4” and “Grape Diamonds”, this week we look at “Lava Cake”, “Black Mamba” and “Wedding Cake”. ALL available in-store and online!
Lava Cake:
This week we are featuring TWO very tasty sounding strains. “Lava Cake” sounds much more like a dessert than a cannabis flower strain but is a cross between “Thin Mint GSC” and “Grape Pie”. Though is actually “Lava Cake” being a highly potent Indica flower strain. “Lava Cake” will be perfect for evening time, or before bed! It is said to have a heavenly sweet smell, with a hint of old-school gas. Many love this strain for its old-school cannabis smell. “Lava Cake” is generally a deep emerald, green color, sometimes with hints of purple surrounding it.
Black Mamba:
“Black Mamba” is a beautiful cross between the ever-popular “Granddaddy Purple” and “Black Domina”. “Black Mamba” has increased in popularity recently due to the passing of Basketball-Star Kobe Bryant. Though this is not the reason the strain was created. “Black Mamba” is said to be an indica-dominant hybrid and is said to be perfect for the evening time and for creative work. It is said to have a flowery or perfume smell to it. It is very pleasant to the nose. “Black Mamba” is also said to have dark-green, dense nugs covered in purple leaves and crystals.
Wedding Cake:
“Wedding Cake” is the second tasty sounding cannabis strain we are featuring today. “Wedding Cake” is a delicious cross between the powerful “Triangle Kush” and “Animal Mints”. “Wedding Cake” is said to be an indica-dominant Hybrid, but many report that it works well for them during all times of the day. “Wedding Cake” is said to smell just like it sounds! A deep, sweet cake flavor with hints of gas and earth. A perfect combo for just about anybody. ‘Wedding Cake” will generally be slightly purple with dense nugs.
