Popular Sizes of Cannabis Products:
Now that cannabis products are widely available to the public ages 21 and above, the world of cannabis products has become vast. With every cannabis product you buy, whether it be cannabis flower, cannabis vapes, or cannabis concentrates ect… there will be a weight or size associated. This weight refers to the net weight of cannabis product itself, excluding packaging. Today we will go over some of the more popular sizes in recreational cannabis.
Cannabis Flower:
Cannabis flower generally comes in 5 sizes that are available to purchase at a retail store. These sizes range from:
-Single Gram of Flower
-1/8th = 3.5g of Flower
-Quarter = TWO 1/8ths = 7g of Flower
-Half Ounce = FOUR 1/8ths = 14g of Flower
-Full Ounce = EIGHT 1/8ths = 28.4g of Flower
There are other sizes that you might have heard of as well include “QP” or Quarter Pound. These you are not able to purchase in a retail store as it is above the limit.
Cannabis Vapes:
Cannabis Vapes are extremely popular for discrete, easy cannabis intake. They have become wildly popular during recent history. These products generally come in 4 sizes.
-250mg = 0.25g Vape Cartridge
-300mg = 0.30g = Vape Cartridge
-500mg = 0.5g = Vape Cartridge
-1000mg = 1g = Vape Cartridge
You most likely will not see a vape cartridge above the size of 1g.
Cannabis Concentrate:
Cannabis concentrates have started to really gain popularity in the current recreational cannabis scene. Taking dabs has now become the daily choice of many daily users. These generally come in 2 different sizes:
-500mg = 0.5g of Concentrate
-1000mg = 1g of Concentrate
You might see larger amounts being sold in stores as well depending on compliance and regulation state-to-state.
