What is CBN and what are its Potential Benefits?
In previous posts we have talked about how cannabis flower contains an array of different cannabinoids. These cannabinoids are all working together to create a specific effect depending on concentration. CBN on its own is a non-intoxicating compound. It can be found in many cannabis flower strains and can be created as THC ages. CBN has been said to have many potential benefits. Some have said it has been helpful with appetite stimulation, without having to deal with the heavy intoxicating effects of THC. Others have said it has been helpful with swelling and body aches. One of the more popular uses is as a sleep aid. Many claim that high levels of CBN cause increased drowsiness, though this has never been proven. Some think it is the effects of both the THC and CBN that causes this effect.
